본지가 홍콩 아시아장례박람회 주관사인 VES 사와 제휴 협약을 맺어 2013AFE박람회에서 각종 이벤트에 긴밀한 협력을 이어 가고 있음은 이미 보도한 바 있다. 5월 14일부터 3박 4일 동안 홍콩의 ‘장례와묘지박람회 및 컨퍼런스’를 참관하고 박람회의 주요 행사에 동참하여 친선교류를 다양하게 전개하고 이어서 홍콩, 마카오, 주하이의 주요 장사 시설을 견학하는 이번 행사는 이미 적절한 인원이 신청하여 마감을 앞두고 있으며 그 행사에 뒤이어 해외 장례관련 CEO와 기관 단체장들이 5월 20일부터 3박 4일 동안 한국의 장례시설을 견학할 목적으로 한국투어를 실시한다.

『AFE2013 Focus Country : Korea』로 명명된 한국투어 행사에 참여하는 인사들의 국적을 일별하면 미국, 홍콩, 영국, 중국, 마카오, 인도네시아, 호주, 말레이시아, 싱가폴, 볼리비아, 몽골, 대만, 등 12개 국가에 이르고 그 인원은 35명이다.

또 주요 기업과 단체를 살펴보면 박람회 주관사인 VES사를 비롯하여 미국 장례지도사협회(NFDA), 홍콩의 묘지협회, 몽골의 장례협회, 마카오의 장례식장 운영업, 인도네시아의 공원묘원 운영업, 싱가폴의 영결식장 대여업, 싱가폴의 시신운송업, 호주의 장례용품 제조업, 홍콩의 자연장 운영업자 등 다양한 분야의 기업들이 눈에 뜨인다.

이들은 본사의 주관 하에 국립현충원과 최신 공설 화장장, 대형 장례식장, 대형 봉안당, 유수 장례학과, 대형 상조회사 등을 견학하는 동시에 한국의 전통 문화를 현장에서 접할 수 있는 관광을 겸하게 된다. 견학에 앞서 첫 날에는 공식 환영연을 베풀고 함께 참석한 한국의 여러 분야 전문인들과 상견례를 나누고 친선교류를 펼친다.

한국의 장례문화가 꽃피기 시작한 지 10여 년에 이르러 그 수준이 괄목할 정도로 향상되었고 우리의 답보하던 전통장례문화가 현대적인 기술과 운영 노하우와 접목하여 세계와 겨루어 손색없는 산업으로 발돋움하게 된 구체적인 현상이 바로 외국 전문인들의 한국투어로 나타나고 있다. 하늘문화신문도 해외장례문화 견학 행사를 꾸준히 실시한 결과가 이와 같은 좋은 결실로 나타난 사실에 극히 고무되어 있으며 자부심을 가져도 좋을 것이다. 우리 업계의 관련 기관 단체와 교수, 학생, 전문 CEO들과도 고무적인 마음을 함께 하고자 한다.

Welcome to Asia Funeral and Cemetery Expo & Conference 2013 Focus

Country: Korea! Since 2010, AFE introduced the “Focus Country” concept; it progressively encourages industry players from different countries to share and play a more important role in this Asia Pacific platform. Undertake Philippines, Taiwan and Australia, Korea has been chosen as AFE2013 “Focus Country” .

Korea has modern and diversified industry development, combining both Asian and Western elements.  Its funeral industry possesses comprehensive, professional and complete operating system.  AFE has extended the familiarization through conference, expo and post-show trip.  We aspire to introduce this unique culture to everyone, to facilitate beneficial exchanges among industry players.

Here we would like to thank the Memorial News Korea to host the Korea tour; Utopia Memorial House; Daejeon National Cemetery ; Daejeon Health Sciences College; Seoul Memorial Park ; Joeun Sangjo, Samsung Hospital Funeral Hall and everyone who contribute to the success of this tour. AFE Post Show Mission Tour to South Korea

Dear Fellow Industry Partners & Delegates,

On behalf of Flying Home, Singapore, allow me to extend a warm welcome to all of you to Seoul, South Korea as part of the Post Show Mission after the very successful Asia Funeral Expo 2013 in Hong Kong.

Flying Home is a Singapore-based international repatriation service. We assist in the returning of remains of deceased persons to their country. Singapore is a global international air hub and this gives us the ability to react to any situation – regionally or internationally with our partners – to organize the repatriation in the shortest possible time.

Flying Home is honored to be the sponsor of this 4-day visit to Seoul, South Korea.

I am confident that over the next four days here, we will get a better insight of how our Korean partners manage the various aspects of the industry that we are also in. There will be valuable insights for us to learn and take away with us.
